Why Pharma should care about circular packaging – Futurity leading the way
Aptar Pharma launched their Futurity™ solutions platform because sustainability is an important company-wide objective. Futurity™ represents our sustainable solutions platform across all our product lines and will help our customers to easily identify Aptar Pharma products, technologies and services that can help enhance sustainability and circularity objectives.
Today Futurity™ comprises packaging and drug dosing solutions made of mono-material, designed for enhanced recyclability or that help to reduce the use of packaging and formulation. Services that support the development of new product solutions with a reduced CO2 footprint, e.g. development services for the use of low Global Warming Potential (GWP) propellants in pMDIs, are also part of the Futurity™ offering. These are all delivery system technologies and services by which Aptar Pharma support a circular approach as well as a reduced CO2 footprint for pharmaceutical and consumer health care products.
