Purchasing

Our purchasing activities break down into two areas:
 

• Strategic purchasing
  This comprises the procurement of production and consumption materials, goods purchased for resale, capital goods and services (such as freight and logistics services).

• Operational purchasing
  This contains the direct call-off ordering of production parts based on customer orders (scheduling / work preparation).

 
Purchasing Strategy
Our company's purchasing strategy demands co-operation in the form of partnerships with suppliers and service providers. They must both fulfill our quality requirements and be interested in a long-term successful business relationship with an internationally operating company.
From our suppliers and service providers, we therefore expect a quality assurance system certified if possible according to ISO 9001, so that they can meet our requirements at all times with the necessary quality, on time and flexibly.
