Aptar Pharma Consumer Health Care Division started its activities back in 1947. In 1970 a joint development with one of the major pharmaceutical companies of those days resulted in the world’s first mechanical nasal spray pump.

Since then, a lot of development work has gone into the science of drug delivery technologies. Huge know-how and intellectual property has been created. A combination of reliability, accuracy and reproducibility of dosing, convenience and cost effectiveness has made our systems a contribution to the success of drug products all over the globe.
