Aptar beauty + home Customizes the Bold Look of Balenciaga’s Florabotanica

For its new Florabotanica perfume by Balenciaga, Coty Prestige selected Aptar beauty + home to create an innovative and contemporary fragrance package.

The streamlined bottle whose play on graphic stripes and striking colors combine to create the core mood of a mysterious floral bouquet. "The creator designed an oversized tube inserted into the bottle to capture the essence of flowers, in the style of a laboratory test tube," said a spokesperson at Coty Prestige.

The technical challenge consisted of creating visual impact with clean lines and flawless dimension of the glass bottle. Aptar beauty + home developed an original package solution for the VP4 fragrance pump by creating an over-tube in black and white stripes which extends into the bottle, as a continuation of the cap and pump decoration. The decoration of this PP tube was achieved through a bi-injection process, guaranteeing product compatibility.

Diesel calls upon Aptar beauty + home to create LOVERDOSE

To make its latest women’s fragrance a reality, Diesel called upon the expertise of Aptar beauty + home: Loverdose was thus created - an oriental, woody and wonderfully tempting fragrance with a mesmerizing trail.

Aptar beauty + home responded to the brand’s design and aesthetic requirements by developing a range of black tube coverings in polypropylene combined with a VP4 crimp pump in three sizes for the bottle (30 ml, 50 ml and 75 ml).

In addition to preserving the integrity of the fragrance and respecting the desired aesthetics, these dip tube coverings also have to withstand all stages of the manufacturing process, from mounting them on the pump right through to the packaging itself.

Finally, Diesel’s aesthetic choice, with the heart-shaped glass of the bottle which gives Loverdose its identity, required a detailed study of the length of each tube covering during the development stage to prevent any interference with the bottom of the bottles.

Brand identity was completed with the engraving of the name DIESEL on the top of the metal actuator.

Swarovski’s new fragrance has an ultra-modern feel and made even more alluring by Aptar’s inspired design.

In collaboration with Clarins Fragrance Group, the crystal manufacturer is launching its very first fragrance, Aura. To capture the visual essence of the Swarovski sparkle, Aptar beauty + home lead the creation of seamless packaging topped with their distinctively cut and faceted crystal.

The new design confirms Aptar beauty + home’s creative ability and technological expertise when portraying the personality and values of a brand.

The bottle was designed to form an aura of light. Mixing glass and metal, this bottle delivers a continuous play of light, illuminating the scent in a shape of intense silhouettes.

To reveal the beneficial effects of Immortelle Divine Eyes (eye contour) and Immortelle Divine Extract (Serum), two of the three products in its unique new Divine global anti-aging skin care range, L’Occitane chose to call upon the creativity and expertise of Aptar beauty + home.

The French beauty brand chose to incorporate the Alpha 150 mcl mechanism which guarantees optimum dispensing of the formula while protecting it from any contact with metal. The Alpha mechanism has a little plastic ball which was designed to prevent the spring from having any contact with theproduct.

Sturdy and reliable, the Alpha mechanism, combined with the Metropolitan design, was the appropriate solution for fulfilling the high-quality expectations of L’Occitane!

Aptar beauty + home customizes vintage style for the new eau de toilette by DIPTYQUE

The highly refined Perfume House diptyque, a symbol of the true art of living, is celebrating its fiftieth anniversary this year. For this occasion, they have created a new range of perfumes and home fragrances named 34 boulevard saint germain: a signature range that pays tribute to the address where the story of diptyque began.

Confident in their expertise, won over by their collaboration with the biggest names in the world of perfume and cosmetics, diptyque has teamed up with Aptar beauty + home for the design of its new eau de toilette bottle for both the 50 ml and 100 ml.

The idea was to use fabric as a nod to the brand’s origins and evoke the memory of the emblematic candle wick of the Perfume House and the beginnings of its success.

In partnership with a braided sheathing manufacturer, Aptar beauty + home developed an over-tube in black and white to cover the diptube in the manner of an old-fashion oil lamp wick. The diptube was then assembled on the VP4 pump, the perfume industry’s best seller by Aptar beauty + home.

The result: another innovative product on the market which gives a whole new dimension to the diptube.

Aptar B+H and MBF Plastiques behind Bvlgari for the latest Bvlgari Man line

With its new line dedicated to men, Bvlgari wanted to maintain its inimitablestyle while giving Bvlgari Man a genuine identity of its own. The brand handed over production of the spray cap to Aptar Beauty + Home, whose expertise and creativity have proved their worth with the top names.

Its brief was to think up a complete ensemble with clean, futuristic lines, like a monolith with an almost architectural design. Aptar Beauty + Home thus joined forces with MBF Plastiques (Aptargroup) to develop a black, glossy spray cap with a strong, sober design giving full expression to Bvlgari Man's values of the powerful and exceptional.

For the fragrance:

Design of two spray caps of 60 and 100 ml, including an on/off system. Supported by a 100-mcl dose VP Compact pump, they each integrate a completely new actuator incorporating a fixed spray technology designed in collaboration with MBF.
For the 30-ml capacity: produced with a 70 dose VP Compact pump, the spray cap has a standard metal actuator and metallic collar with a high profile bead. Its cap is an exclusive design by MBF.

For the 100 ml after-shave lotion:

Production of a specific cap consisting of three different parts, to which MBF has added a tightness stem. This product also features a Seal Tight dropper with metallic collar with a low profile bead.

Poison by Dior: innovative designs for mythical perfumes created by Aptar B+H

Ever the innovator, this year the House of Dior wanted to rethink the packaging design of one of its emblematic perfume ranges, Poison, while maintaining its seductive spirit.

To achieve this exclusive packaging, Dior chose to call upon the unique know-how and creativity of Aptar beauty + home, having complete confidence in their expertise.

This collaboration resulted in the packaging of the latest addition to the Poison range, the Hypnotic Poison Eau Sensuelle fragrance. In the short term, the packaging of the other four fragrances in the range will all be based on this model. For Aptar beauty + home, it was a matter of being able to evoke the eminently sensual values portrayed by the entire Poison range, while accentuating the original design: the group and its partner, MBF Plastiques, thus developed exclusive integrated top packaging deliveredfully assembled.

The deep amethyst Surlyn cap was meticulously designed – more distinct hollowed and accentuated shapes – which included an injection and cooling process followed by a finishing process. For an optimized spray, Aptar beauty + home gave thebottle a VP4 100μl Seal Tight pump.

A special decorative collar was made in metal-coated champagne gold to ensure overall product harmony. The anodized champagne gold actuator has a “CD” engraving, the symbol of the House of Dior.

For the 10th anniversary of FlowerByKenzo, Kenzo wanted its emblematic fragrance to be involved in sustainable development: the brand thus chose to entrust its desire to the skilful know-how of Aptar Beauty + Home, fully confident in its expertise.

To reply to Kenzo’s expectations, Aptar Beauty + Home replaced the classic VP4 crimp pumps with VP4 screw pumps so that FlowerByKenzo is now available as a refillable spray.

An exclusive Aptar Beauty + Home creation, these new pumps are of the same diameter as the previous ones: only a few modifications were required so the existing bottles and caps could be kept.

For the 50 and 100 ml sizes the same version of the VP4 screw pump was used on a CV 15 mm neck with a silver anodized aluminum collar customized for Kenzo, while for the 30 ml bottles a VP4 screw pump was used on a CV 13 neck.

Aptar Beauty + Home developed and produced an innovative protocol beforehand which enabled testing the VP4 on a CV 15 mm neck with a “refillable” function and validating its perfect suitability. Optimum quality (leak-proofness, durability, etc) was thus guaranteed for its use.

With this new version of FlowerByKenzo, Aptar Beauty + Home has more than ever shown its capacity for innovation and demonstrated that technical can go hand in hand with ethical.

To satisfy the technical, as well as the aesthetic, constraints of the product, Aptar beauty + home proposed a Rainbow pump, the all-plastic version of the VP4 Seal Tight. In white plastic, the rainbow pump plays it sober to better show off the colourful packaging of the scents.

At the request of the L’Oréal Group, Aptar beauty + home also built a special cap to match the fun, bonbon-coloured choice of bottles.

new packaging to its Eau de Toilette line, complementing the

already existing Bath line.

For this new spray, the ever innovative chain of perfume stores

adopted Teleglass, a mini - packaging solution from Aptar Gift +

Promotion

Its strengths? A carefully designed format - 7ml - with a slim,

cylindrical silhouette, a flush design, reinforced by an aligned pump

to the glass bottle and emphasized by the colors customized to the

brand.

Both chic and trendy, this mini packaging slips easily into any bag

or purse. It can be carried everywhere to be used at will, or it can

be part of a collection of scents to suit your mood.

This spritz of fantasy is the new line of Eau de Toilette launched by

Affinity is the latest addition to Aptar’s GS dispenser offering. The Affinity has an external spring in the cartridge allowing for a metal-free product path. This feature eliminates compatibility issues with the metal spring and product formulations.
